![]() Seems simple, but I have no experience with this and had to give the PC back in working order this afternoon. You need to enter CNTL-I to enter and there are only 6 items on the menu. If anyone knows what to answer I'd appreciate. This menu comes up before the BIOS when you change drives. Ghost allows you to backup to any type of media, including CD and DVD discs, external hard drives or Iomega Zip and Jazz disks. Then, I installed another hard drive in the laptop to restore to (a disaster test) and my next issue is what the proper answers are for the Intel Rapid Storage Technology menu. The Symantec Ghost Boot CD for Windows from Symantec allows you to create a full system backup that you can use to restore your computer in the event of a hard drive failure or major system problem. ![]() Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.Īs far as making Ghost backups on the 7520, I consider this case closed! So instead of chasing around for drivers and spending the time to build boot images I tried the Linux Pre-OS.ĪND it worked!!!!! I could see the internal HDD, the external HDDs and even the 32 gig SSD. ![]() The only drivers I could find on the Dell site were for Win7 and Win8 64 bit. It never got to a point if it saw the external. I got my hands on the 7520 today and tried a WinPE-512 Ghost Boot disk with all the drivers available, but it didn't recognize the internal drive. ![]()
